Canada Hefei No. 1 Secondary School (CHSS) is a certified Canadian offshore high school that offers the British Columbia (B.C.) curriculum. Students at CHSS will take the B.C. Graduation Program which consists of Grades 10, 11, and 12. CHSS is housed out of Hefei No. 1 High School, the top ranked  high school in Anhui Province. Our students receive the same curriculum as students in B.C., Canada. All courses at CHSS are taught in English by B.C. certified teachers and all teaching methods, student evaluation, and standards of education are the same as in a B.C. high school. CHSS is inspected every year by a team of inspectors sent by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. This process is designed to ensure that the highest standards of a British Columbia education are being offered and met.

 

Upon completion of the Graduation Program, successful graduates of CISGG will receive the same high school certificate that all British Columbia students receive — the Dogwood Diploma. With this Canadian high school graduation certificate, students with appropriate grades and English ability will have an improved opportunity for acceptance at Canadian (and other English speaking) colleges and universities.
