CHSS's Admission Policy:

 

General Admissions:

 

• Students will normally be admitted to the B.C. program for the school year (September to June), during a period of the months before the school year begins and up until Sept 30.

 

• After students have completed their Zhong kao exam (secondary school entrance exam) and obtained a high enough score to be eligible to apply to CHSS, they must make a formal application to the BC program, take CHSS's Entrance Exam and have an interview. Based on the test results and interview, the Principal will determine whether or not the student qualifies to enter the program. All students' English skills must be at least at a high-beginner level to be admitted.

 

• Students school history will be considered as part of the admissions process. Students should have a history of high academic achievement, excellent study habits, and exemplary behaviour.

 

Late Admissions:

 

• Students may be admitted into the program late - up until October 30 - with the permission of the Principal, provided that all of the general admissions criteria have been met. In addition, these students must be at a much higher level of English skills and will have to make up all missed work.

Tuition Fees:

- Tuition fee: 35,000 RMB per semester = 70,000 RMB per year
